Allen Texas is located in Collin County rather than Dallas County, but it's still part of the Dallas Metroplex and considered part of Dallas for local folks anyway. According to Wikipedia, the population is estimated to be at 69,891 as of 2005. It is located northeast of Dallas, North of Plano and Southeast of McKinney. The major roadways are I-75 and 121.
